1000BASE-BX-D BiDi SFP Transceiver Module (SMF, 1550nm-TX/1310nm-RX, 20km, SC, DDM) Optcore’s OPB1250-5320SDCR is a hot-pluggable SFP bi-directional (BiDi) transceiver module specifically for duplex optical data communications such as 1000BASE-BX Gigabit Ethernet per IEEE802.3z and 1G Fiber Channel short reach application. This 1G BiDi SFP SC module provides 10km~20km transmission distance over a single strand of single-mode fiber. Compared with commonly used dual fiber SFP modules, this BiDi SFP transceiver allows end users to reduce the total cost on fiber cabling infrastructure by requiring half of the fiber cables, providing increased transmission capacity very convenient without installing new fibers. An OPB1250-5320SDCR is always connected with an OPB1250-3520SDCR over a single fiber.
