1.25G Multi-mode 850nm 550m SFF SX Optical Transceiver Module for Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fibre Channel Optcore’s OSF1250-8505NxR is a high performance and cost-effective 2×5 SFF optical transceivers for serial optical data communication applications such as 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fibre Channel FC-PH-2. The 2×5 SFF LC transceiver consists of two sections: the transmitter section consists of 850nm VCSEL with eye safety; the receiver section consists of a PIN. The 1GB SFF transceiver optics are supplied in industry-standard 2×5 footprint with duplex LC fiber connector interface and are fully compliant with SFF MSA. This SFF transceiver is designed for multi-mode fiber and operates at a wavelength of 850nm. The SFF transceiver is a class 1 laser product compliant with International Safety Standard IEC-60825.
