622Mbps SMF 1550nm 80km 2×5 SFF Optical Transceiver Module for SDH STM-4/SONET OC-12 Optcore’s OSF622-5580NxR is a high-performance small form factor SFF 2×5 pin optical transceiver module for duplex optical data communications networks such as SDH STM-4/SONET OC-12 and 622Mb/s ATM long reach the application. This SFF transceiver module provides 80km transmission distance over single mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm. The transmitter section uses a 1550nm DFB laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed InGaAs PIN photodiode (PD) and trans-impedance preamplifier. The 622Mbps SFF module series is fully compliant with SFF Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA).
