This is a Fleck 2510/BW-EC backwashing electromechanical timer control valve with an environmental cover. This valve is designed for use in systems that only require the backwash and rapid rinse cycles. Typical applications are activated carbon filtration, sand filters, acid neutralizers, and other applications that do not require brining cycles. This is not a water softener valve and cannot be used to replace water softener valves.
