Liquitex Gold Metallic Medium is an effects medium that can be used on its own or mixed with color to give a subtle warm metallic shimmer. Gold Metallic Medium can be mixed with acrylic paint to extend the color and slow down drying time. It will impart a subtle gold luster to any color it is mixed with, or can be used alone to create gold surface highlights. When used with Heavy Body it will lower their viscosity. This medium will slow the drying time of your colors, allowing you more time to create subtle color blends. This medium extends color without affecting acrylic stability. This medium can be used for airbrushing, staining and fine detail painting. Gold Metallic Medium is lightfast, archival, permanent, non-yellowing, flexible, non-cracking and water-resistant when dry.
