DescriptionThis listing is for an adorable Percy keepsake penguin that comes in two sizes measuring approx 9″ and 14″. Can be made from lost loved ones clothes, baby clothes that you just can not stand to part with or school clothes as a leavers gift. The price includes embroidery on the belly area of the penguin of words or dates of your choice. This keepsake can be made from 3-4 baby sleepsuits based on 3-6 months, anything smaller will require more. Please ensure you include a note with your clothes detailing order number, name and return address. Clothes should be clean but no need to iron as I do this when I stabilise the fabric.I stabilise each piece of clothing with interfacing when making all of my keepsakes, which ensures a high quality finish and therefore almost any fabric can be used. However, please bear in mind that anything to thick may not sit so nicely against cotton and jersey and may not result in a clean, flat seam finish. Sleepsuits, baby vests, t-shirts, trousers, ties, shirts and skirts all make excellent keepsakes and most items can be used except loose knit, very thick or padded items, leather, plastic, heavily beaded or very sheer fabrics. If you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact me before ordering.Lead time is currently 3-4 weeks from the time I receive your clothes but please bear in mind this can be longer which I will update if this is the case.Please be aware this is a keepsake and not a toy. As these keepsakes are made from precious clothing and provided by you, they can not be CE tested and are therefore not suitable for persons under 14 years of age.
