One of the hardiest Basils we have ever grown and will keep over the winter inside on a sunny window-sill.Keep warm and dry inside during cooler months (above 15 degrees). This variety looks stunning in a pot on the patio where you can enjoy the aroma and the beautiful flowers. Although one should cut out the flowers on most basils, please leave some for the bees on this variety!This aromatic herb is great in the kitchen and adds flavour to many recipes. For best results add towards the end of cooking. It is famous for the unique flavour it imparts to tomato and pasta dishes. One of the best known recipes for Basil is of course Pesto sauce.
