The Green incense by Nado Poizokhang is a gentle, harmonious blend of natural ingredients; it is perfect for daily offerings. The formula of this incense was written down in the XVI century by Pema Karpo, the great master of Drukpa tradition, also known as the Fourth Gyalwang Drukpa.All ingredients are organic and most are forage at high altitudes in the forest of Bhutan. This family business is now providing employment for 15 poor, uneducated, and underprivileged people. They work closely with the Community Based Sustainable Management of Medicinal Plants Project that educates collectors on the sustainable collection and cultivation of the natural products that they use.
