2.5G Single-mode 1550nm 120km LR-2 SFP Transceiver Module for SDH STM-16 L-16.2/SONET OC-48 LR-2/2x Fibre Channel Optcore’s OSP2488-55A2DCR is a high performance small form factor pluggable SFP module for 2.5Gb/s serial optical data communications such as SDH STM-16 L-16.2/SONET OC-48 LR-2/2x Fibre Channel application. This SFP transceiver module provides 120km transmission distance over single mode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm. The transmitter section incorporates a 1550nm DFB laser that is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed APD and trans-impedance preamplifier. Additionally, the OSP2488-55A2DCR SFP module also features a digital diagnostic interface per SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, laser average output power and received optical power. These parameters are internally calibrated by default.
