2.5Gbps 1470~1610nm 120km CWDM SFP Optical Transceiver Module for SDH STM-16/SONET OC-48/2x Fibre Channel Optcore’s OPC2488-xxA2DCR is a high performance and cost-effective CWDM (Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing) SFP transceiver module for SDH STM-16/SONET OC-48 and 2x Fibre Channel ultra-long reach the application. The 2.5Gbps CWDM SFP module provides high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. This CWDM SFP transceiver module supports a 120km transmission distance of 9/125µm single-mode fiber. It features a highly reliable CWDM DFB transmitter and APD photo-detector into a LC Duplex optical connector. There are 8 center wavelengths available from 1470nm to 1610nm with each step 20nm. Additionally, the OPC2488-xxA2DCR 2.5Gb CWDM SFP has been integrated with an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI) per SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power, and transceiver supply voltage. These parameters are internally calibrated by default. The 2.5Gbps CWDM SFP transceiver need uses with CWDM Multiplexer and Demultiplexer (CWDM Mux and Demux) that is separately sold by Optcore.
